Basically an OK monitor. It has some nice features (being able to put the nightlight on from the receiver/parent unit, for one), but it has a few issues. Our first one was defective and had to be returned (the receiver kept turning itself off), but Amazon replaced it very efficiently. My main complaints are 1: the transmitter (baby unit) makes a very very faint, high-pitched buzzing noise, almost above the range of human hearing. It's only just perceptible, but it's there. My other problem with it is the volume on the receiver is very low. Even turned all the way up, you have to be in the same room to hear it. So if we're in the living room and I get up and go to the kitchen for a few minutes, I have to bring the monitor with me. Even with the doors open between the two rooms, I can't hear the monitor from one room away. That annoys me. But the battery life on the receiver is good at least, and the sound quality is good. The weather's been toilet so I haven't had a chance to test...
